Triangle Canine Club was established in July of 2023 as The Dog Moms of Durham. We saw the need for a resource that connects dog moms with each other, as well as local businesses and organizations that are dedicated to bettering the life of our beloved, four-legged family members. In our first year, we realized that we had large participation of dog parents from all over the Triangle and not just dog moms who lived in Durham. Because of this we elected to rebrand in 2025 to the Triangle Canine Club.

Set up as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Triangle Canine Club is a volunteer run organization that works towards building a stronger dog community in the Raleigh - Durham area. We strive to be a resource for dog owners to connect to like-minded people, businesses, and organizations. We do this by hosting social activities, supporting local businesses, and fundraising for local animal organizations.

In 2025, we hosted a total of 24 social meet ups, attended 10 community dog events, hosted 4 large festival/fundraising events, hosted 1 educational class, and volunteered at local shelters multiple times. These events helped raise over $15,000 for local rescue organizations!

For 2026, we plan to keep on growing! We aim to host 48 events, raise at least $15,000 for local rescues again, increase our membership base to 500 members, and increase our social media presence to 7,500 followers.
